As a business developer, it is important to stay up to date on customers' experiences, challenges and expectations. Before you know it, a new opportunity arises. But in order to create a good solution, you'll have to make sure you're solving a real world problem.

Products and services as a solution

The best products and services are the ones that solve a problem for the customers. This can be a real problem as the lack of necessary equipment. There may also be a need covered by the product or service that enhances the customer experience. The most important thing for your company is to validate the business idea with two questions: What problem do you solve and for whom? In other words, who is your target audience and what do they need? The next step is to find out how you can offer a solution that meets the customer's needs.

From worry and annoyance to a new business idea!

At the end of 2020, Thomas and Anders decided to say goodbye to cumbersome infection tracking solutions and launched the concept "Infection Care". The problem came to the fore during an informal chat, and the mood went from being characterized by frustration to curiosity. They saw the opportunity to develop a new business idea!

One of the most common methods entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs use in their search for problems is "scratch your own itch". It means finding a problem that you have yourself, either personally or in your company, followed by a solution to the problem! But a problem can not become a business idea until you identify several people with the same problem. If you are lucky, these people are also on the search for a solution. That was exactly what Anders and Thomas did. They spoke with the then head of Blender Collective, Sabine Larrieu-Hellestad. She said that it has been a major source of concern for the manager how she should keep track and safeguard personal information with today's solutions.

Intellipush's existing solution was adapted and adjusted to the need for infection tracking, and a new product was born. The idea was tested as a solution for Blender Collective where the brothers are based on Intellipush. After a few weeks of testing and researching the market, they were ready to spread their wings and take off. Shortly before the launch, they ended up on the front page of Fredrikstad magazine as part of the series "Skaperne" (The Creators).

About infection care

The concept behind infection care is simple; you scan the QR code with the camera on your phone and press send on the already completed message that appears. This is how you are registered and secured. For companies, it's just as easy. The solution registers necessary information such as the telephone number of the visitor and the time of the visit automatically. If you are unlucky, it is easy to send an SMS to everyone who should be contacted immediately. In addition, a list of visitors can be exported and sent over to the infection tracking team in the municipality. The solution safeguards privacy by registering only necessary information and by deleting the lists automatically after 10 days.

If you have SMS included in your subscription, the solution is free for you as a user. For companies, it is free to use infection care, you only pay per SMS that is sent out in connection with registration.
